APPLICATION FOR FIREFIGHTER
On  January 1st of 2015, NOFD began providing 24 hour/7 day a week paid staffing.  Paid members respond from the Goshen Station on Hwy 1793 and the Skylight Station on US 42.  Each station has an Engine Company staffed with firefighter/EMTs.

NOFD has certified Kentucky fire instructors on staff, allowing us to provide quality training to all members.  Full time personnel are required to get 100 training hours each year to stay certified.  Our firefighters receive continuing education hours on emergency medical training to stay certified as emergency medical technicians.  Several of the NOFD instructors are also certified by the American Heart Association to teach CPR/AED and First Aid.
