We are governed by a Board of Trustees in accordance with Kentucky Revised Statute Chapter 75 and gain our revenue through property taxes that are currently capped by law at .9 cents per hundred dollars of assessed property value. 

Our district is staffed with two stations and a variety of career full and part-time staff. The District is currently evaluated by the Insurance Service Office (ISO) as a 03/OY Community. This rating was achieved in August of 2018. Our district is a blend of Suburban Residential, Rural, Agricultural, and Light Commercial . 

Our Trustees are a body of 7 appointed and elected community leaders who volunteer their time providing financial oversight to ensure that the district can deliver above par emergency response while remaining transparent and fiscally responsible  to our taxpayers.
