4/24/2009 - NOFD was called to respond to a residential house fire in the new Poplar Woods subdivision.
Upon our arrival the building was fully involved and not salvageable, so our primary focus was to extinguish the fire defensively and to protect the adjacent residence from catching fire due to radient heat. It has been determined that the fire was started by spontaneous combustion of paint thinner and rags soaked in such materials.
